Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and delivering engaging fitness programs that cater to diverse client needs, ensuring a safe and effective workout environment.
Duties
- Lead group fitness classes, providing instruction in areas such as Pilates, CrossFit, and dance.
- Develop tailored fitness programs that align with individual goals and capabilities.
- Demonstrate proper body mechanics and techniques to ensure participant safety.
- Conduct assessments of clients’ fitness levels and provide feedback on progress.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere during classes to enhance participant engagement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in health and fitness, incorporating new techniques into programming as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other health club staff to promote fitness sales and membership growth.
Experience
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and program design is essential.
- Familiarity with various fitness modalities including Pilates, CrossFit, and dance is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds.
- Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction is highly desirable.
