IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is recruiting a Senior Environmental Specialist on behalf of our client in Beaumont, Texas. This high-impact role ensures the organization’s compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations related to air quality, water management, and waste handling. The successful candidate will lead compliance initiatives, analyze environmental data, and collaborate across departments to maintain and exceed regulatory standards.
🔍 What You’ll Do:
- Lead and deliver environmental compliance training to plant personnel.
- Analyze emissions data and prepare reports for regulatory submissions.
- Monitor and manage waste programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Review environmental reports and flag potential Title V deviations.
- Oversee stormwater and wastewater systems, ensuring proper operation and reporting.
- Interface with regulatory bodies; prepare and submit permits, applications, plans, and reports.
- Provide documentation support during audits and inspections.
- Stay current on HSEQ standards and industry best practices through continuous development.
- Collaborate with internal teams and support cross-functional compliance efforts.
🎯 What You Bring:
- 10 years of relevant environmental compliance experience (preferred).
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (asset).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple compliance priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and regulatory agency interaction experience.
- TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required or ability to obtain.
