We are seeking an Occupational Health Lead to manage occupational health and safety programs, ensure regulatory requirements are met, and provide technical expertise to the HES Manager and Plant Management. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of safety principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The Occupational Health Lead will:
- Manage internal and external safety audits, facilitation, prioritization, and closure of audit findings
- Manage the site's incident investigation process, providing qualified investigators and leading or facilitating lead investigations as needed
- Monitor and track health and safety action items to ensure proper mitigation strategies are identified and action closure is completed
- Manage corporate initiatives and implementation of health, safety, and emergency management programs
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Safety or a related field, 15 years of experience in safety management roles, and proven experience in safety management with a strong understanding of safety principles and regulations.
