Description
In-Depth Engineering seeks a Software Engineer to support the development and deployment of a complete sonar suite on board various U.S. Navy submarines. This position requires an independent individual capable of self-directed issue resolution. Experience with large project and/or DoD programs preferred, but not required. The work will be performed full time on-site at our customer site in Manassas, VA with occasional travel to our headquarters in Fairfax, VA. Candidates must be able to report for duty in Manassas, VA Monday - Friday.
Duties:
- Development in C
- Design and development
- Object-oriented design
- Implementation of interface software
- Implementation of display applications
- LINUX/UNIX development
- Development for real-time systems

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance
- 8-10 years of software engineering experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related disciplines
- Experience in C - Java development practices
- Proficient in Unix operating system
