Software/Systems Engineer – Columbia, MD
Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000
Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance Package
In-Depth Engineering Corporation is seeking dedicated and innovative software engineer with systems engineering experience to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development programs. This position offers the opportunity to work on the Electronic Warfare – Micro-Adaptive Trainer (EW-MAT) program, focusing on designing and developing cutting-edge software capabilities, incorporating advanced simulation and stimulation attributes, and leveraging the latest tools, technologies and infrastructures, such as Kubernetes/Docker, to support an interactive, adaptive training tool that is delivered to the submarine warfare community.
The work will be performed in our Research and Development Lab in Columbia, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in software and systems engineering development
• Perform code inspections and troubleshoot software
• Utilize modern software tools within an agile environment
• Design, develop, integrate and test software across several programs
• Work primarily with C , Java and Python in a Linux environment
• Prepare engineering design documentation
• Present engineering materials during peer and customer reviews

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of software engineering experience
• Ability to obtain a government Security clearance
• Must be US Citizen for consideration
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
• Proficiency in C and/or Java
• Experience in Python and Containers/Kubernetes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
