Job description
As a Controls System Engineer you will be responsible for :
- Working directly with customers as an lead member of the multidisciplinary sustaining engineering team.
- Developing and designing control architecture, panels and wiring drawings either as improvements to existing designs or as part of new product development.
- Ensuring electrical component and system designs have appropriate analytical verification, production level validation, and field-testing.
- Develop electrical schematics, layout drawings, etc.
- Working with other engineers, technicians and designers in a team environment to foster a creative workplace, allowing for new ideas while embracing speed and excellence.
- Define and implement distributed control system (DCS) configurations in Emerson DeltaV platform.
- Maintaining Technical Regulations and Standards (TRS) for the business
- Strong Emerson DeltaV experience
- Work directly with technical sales support and business development team
- Some travel to customer sites in area and occasionally out of state
