We are seeking a Litigation Associate - Insurance Defense to join a top tier firm with an office in Columbia, SC.! Minimum of 1-2 years of Insurance Defense desired, Litigation experience required. Wonderful growing firm with an awesome culture and tons of room for growth.  Endless opportunity.  Base salary listed, does not include bonuses etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Record and store client information

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
  • Familiarity with legal research
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
