What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Product Lead Design Engineer position at In-Finite Search Solutions?
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
- Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Be point of contact for project, project status, and execution.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
- Participate on teams assigned to address specific team initiatives and design challenges
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
- Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering role
- Capital equipment Manufacturing experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Familiarity with design, test, and analysis tools and systems
- Demonstrates basic domain expertise in technical knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams
