What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Maker position at In-finite Search Solutions?
Our growing stamping facility currently has an opening for a tool & die maker. This is a full-time position and we are looking to hire immediately. The primary duty will be working on the metal stamping dies. Please read through the description/requirements and send a professional up to date resume.
Job Duties:
· Builds, repairs, maintains and/or duplicates various perishable tooling and/or tooling details used in production processes in an effort to enhance efficiency and quality
· Creates sketches and interprets blueprints and schematics for the machining and/or maintenance of tooling needs
· Operates and maintains multiple machine tools such as but not limited to: mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, saws, welders and heat treating ovens
· Operates and maintains measuring instruments such as but not limited to: height gauges, depth protractors, micrometers, scales and calipers
· Troubleshoots tooling problems, performs basic repairs to the tolerances needed to keep tooling and equipment operating at optimum levels of efficiency and quality
· Maintains a clean and safe work environment by adhering to established safety policies and procedures, as well as wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment
· Assists with preventative maintenance on all press tooling
Position Requirements:
· Journeyman Card Tool and Die Making
· Ability to duplicate complex tooling assemblies to support the manufacture of quality products produced in a timely, safe and efficient manner
· Ability to set up and operate machine tools such as but not limited to: engine lathe, vertical milling machines, surface grinders, drills, welders heat treating ovens, saws and hand tools needed to perform duties
· Ability to accurately use measuring instruments such as but not limited to: height gauges, depth gauges, scribes, micrometers, calipers and protractors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Electrical Discharge Machining: 1 year (Required)
- CNC: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Journeyman License (Preferred)
