Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing training to staff and caregivers.
Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the needs of clients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide direct supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), if applicable, and other staff members.
- Train families, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and related fields.
- The BCBA will provide support to individuals by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. They will oversee programming of associate behavior analysts and provide ongoing support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices.
- Strong skills in data collection methods for tracking client progress.
- Experience managing medical records effectively.
