In Flight’s Community Hab department is looking for creative and self-motivated staff to work 1:1 with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities both at home and within the community. You must be able to relate positively to people with developmental disabilities and want to support their goals for a fulfilling life. This is a flexible, fun, and independent position!
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
This position entails providing one-to-one support to a person with a developmental disability in their home
and community. You must have patience, a personable demeanor, excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively work with minimal direct supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for working with people to achieve valued outcomes set forth in their at home residential habilitation plan as well as their individualized service plans
$18.00 an hour
Per Diem (5 to 29 hours a week), evenings, and weekends. Cases in Columbia County.
• Quarterly bonus- must average 20 hours per week per quarter to qualify for it.

EXPERIENCE:
• Working with Individuals that have IDD preferred but not required.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass all NYS and OPWDD background clearances.
• Attending a full multi-day orientation in Red Hook
• USE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLE -Mileage reimbursement available for any transportation of the person(s) supported.
