We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our clients
• Completing Residential Habilitation documentation in a timely manner
• Providing nutritious meals and encouraging participation in food preparation
• Implementing daily routines, including chores, housekeeping, and maintenance of ADL kits
• Assisting with personal care and health-related needs
• Addressing crisis situations and medical emergencies according to agency policy
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and pass NYS and OPWDD background clearances.
You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to document and track information.
