In Flight Inc., is a nonprofit that provides support services within a home environment and the community for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
Scope of work performed : The Philanthropy Associate will be the direct contact for individual and independent donors. They will focus on developing one to one relationships to cultivate engagement. While being responsible for database management, fundraising event coordination, grant writing and the maintenance of the multi-year giving society. This position will play a key role in assisting the department to grow the donor base and increase unrestricted funding. The Philanthropy Associate will report to the Director of Philanthropy and External Affairs.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- One to two years of fundraising or related experience.
- Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate working weekends and evenings when needed.

All staff must pass all NYS Justice Center Background Check Requirements (if required), and Physical. In addition, the employee has a duty to report any suspected violations of the law (including any motor vehicle infractions) to the Human Resources Department.
