Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. Under the direction of the Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, assists in providing speech therapy services to children (in office only) and follows documented treatment plans or protocols.
Responsibilities
- Delivering 1:1 direct therapeutic services for ages 0-18 years.
- Implementing therapeutic plan of care devised by the Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Keeping up-to-date and accurate daily documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborating with families and Speech-Language Pathologist to enhance client progress.
- Assist with performing screenings for clients.
- Clerical/administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a SLPA (Preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
