Hours: 4 - 10 hour shifts, Weekend Rotation

Call: Weekends, Holidays, After Hours (starting at 6:30PM); 30 minute call Response Time Position Summary:

• Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patients clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.
  
  

Ideal Profile

• 2 to 5 years experience
• Seniority Level - Associate
• Management Experience Required - No
• Minimum Education - Associate's Degree
• Willingness to Travel - Never
  
  

Qualifications

• Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Required upon hire
• Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS or RVT), If not currently registered, must be registered within 6 months of hire
• BLS
• 3 years of experience as an Echocardiographer in all modalities of Echo with adult and geriatric patients.
• TEE, Stress Echo experience required
• Vascular Ultrasound experience preferred
• In-patient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent preferred
