What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA Personal Care Assistant position at IN HOME ATTENDANT SERVICES?
We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support a 50 year old physically challenged male in their everyday lives. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.
Responsibilities
- Ensure client receive their medication on time
- Support client who can’t move on their own
- Help client dress, bathe, eat etc.
- Assist client with physical therapy exercises
- Cook meals according to the client’s restrictions
- Help client's with their shopping
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
