Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at promoting independence and well-being for those you serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Help with mobility assistance, including transferring clients from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of care provided.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism by implementing personalized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in social work, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices is essential.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
• Strong cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.21 - $20.79 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
• Home care: 1 year (Preferred)
