Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to clients in their homes. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals who may require assistance due to age, illness, or disability. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with mobility and ensuring safe movement within the home.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding client care plans and progress.
- Report any concerns or changes in client condition promptly to management team.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Previous home care experience preferred but not required.
- A strong background in geriatrics is highly valued, as many clients may be elderly individuals requiring specialized support.
Home Care Aide Requirements
All basic personal care aides must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to read, write and follow directions.
- Not be the family member of the participant for whom personal care is to be provided.
- A valid license and proof of automobile insurance on a personal vehicle.
