in-House is a startup company dedicated to empowering the voice of every employee while ensuring complete anonymity. We have developed a platform that allows verified employees to voice diverse opinions, surface important issues and ideas, and provide feedback and ratings on their employers. Unlike other platforms, in-House prioritizes privacy and does not collect personal metadata, eliminating the need for sign-ups or logins. We believe in fostering an environment where employees can openly rate and discuss company matters and drive meaningful change within their organizations.
COMPENSATION
"No one gets rich by working" so we are a pre-money start-up with ~20 mostly part-time, internationally remote, passionate members contributing sweat equity for early stock option ownership.
ROLE
The Brand Storyteller & Content Writer role will focus on blunt, dry-toned, 'drop-the-mic' socio-political-emotional human issues that is driving dischord in modern society. The voice is critical to capture our brand and purpose which is a mixture of Greta Thunberg, Pew Research, and Vice News but with a mandate to be brutally honest about the biggest picture issues in our midst.
WE ARE SEEKING someone who:
* has a knack for identifying the emotional 'rub' and making it 'itch';
* employs right-brain, flow-state, advertising-based communication thinking;
* has stong journalistic, speech-writing and/or socio-political storytelling ability;
* would not get bored talking about "ubiquitous localized democracy" (our product);
* knows how to leverage 'wait-what-hooks' in today's fast media cycle;
* has a pulse on current social-media content consumption trends;
* is well-versed in current social / political issues related historical comparisons;
* is adept at maximizing / recycling / repurposing content;
* can contribute at least 15 hours per week consistently;
