ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consult with clients about their needs and preferences. Provide recommendations on appropriate services and products.
- Perform manicure and pedicure treatments. Apply polish, acrylics, and other nail enhancements.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests and employees.
- Understand and relay information regarding the menu of services and products sold.
- Able to answer any questions that guests may have in regards to the spa.
- Remain up to date on Nail Technician or Cosmetologist license renewal.
- Stay up to date with various nail beauty trends.
- Perform up to 6 treatments daily.
- Ensure adherence to Chamonix Spa Salon guest service and journey rules.
- Maintain and follow Chamonix Spa Salon luxury standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Performs special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience working in a spa or salon. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience. Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program. Preferred one (1) or more years of recent and related salon or spa experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must hold a valid Colorado Nail Technician or Cosmetology license as required by the state.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Creativity and an eye for detail. Desire to perform exceptional nail care coupled with a fantastic guest experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and sitting or standing for a majority of the work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move spa, salon, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties require manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$23.00 an hour based on experience plus gratuities, service commissions, and sales commissions.

Salary : $23
