What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table Games Dealer (PT) position at In-House Opportunities - Please select a location before applying?
Deals assigned games in an accurate manner while providing outstanding customer service. Responsible for all money on assigned table during a live game. Knowledge of other carnival games - Blackjack a must.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide excellent internal/external guest service;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Deal games according to standard rules, company procedures and applicable gaming regulations;
- Responsible for control of game(s);
- Ability to protect assets of company;
- Shuffle and deal cards accurately to guests;
- Quickly and accurately calculate face value of cards;
- Exchange cash for proper denominations of chips;
- Pick up losing bets and cards from guest’s betting square, pay winning bets, and place chips in appropriate betting square;
- Complete any required forms, records, or documents;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School/GED;
- Dealer school or on-the-job training for assigned games
- Six (6) months of prior experience preferred.
Preferred:
Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Maintain current knowledge of applicable company policies and gaming regulations

Casino environment which may include exposure to noise and second-hand smoke

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes continuous at a time)

Must be able to bend and reach across gaming table

Must be able to use hands to deal and collect playing cards

Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds regularly throughout shift

Salary Range:
$9.50 - $10.00 Tips
