What You'll Do
As a CNC Machinist, you're not just running machines-you're shaping the future of manufacturing with your expertise! Here's what your days will look like :
- Own the Machine Floor : Set up, program, and operate Haas vertical and horizontal machining centers (or turning centers) like a pro.
- Flex Your CAM Skills : Use a CAM system (we use Mastercam) to craft programs that make parts come to life.
- Create with Precision : Develop processes, select tooling, and execute setups to produce parts with tolerances as tight as / - 0.005".
- Keep it Smooth : Perform progressive machining operations with dimensional accuracy and stellar finishes.
- Inspect Like a Pro : Ensure every part meets the highest quality standards through inspections and detailed documentation.
- Innovate : Provide feedback to optimize programs, tooling, and processes.
- Stay Safe and Tidy : Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace-because safety is always the #1 priority!
