We have an immediate opening for a Sales Engineer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sales Engineers are key members of our highly energized, collaborative team. Sales Engineers are responsible for customer interface, evaluating project requirements, preparing proposals, managing large-scale projects, presenting IPM capabilities, recommending technical solutions, closing sales, and being a resource for our customers and internal personnel. Working with the Outside Sales team, Technical Process Managers, engineering, subject matter experts, and other internal resources, the Sales Engineer will ensure safety, project planning, technical suitability, and pricing standards are achieved. Through near-daily interactions with all departments and suppliers, you will further develop your leadership skills and grow your manufacturing knowledge. Our well-established onboarding program and excellent training plan allows you to learn the business, will lead to daily success, and provide a broad knowledgebase for future growth opportunities within the company. Experience and Skills :
- A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Business discipline desired, or equivalent technical experience
- 2-year technical degree, required
- Experience with Microsoft Windows software (word, excel, ppt, etc)
- Experience with general computer software
- Ability to review and interpret mechanical drawings
- Proficient interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in a mechanical or machining environment, preferred
- Project management training and / or experience, preferred
Other Requirements : OSHA 10
Valid driver’s license, required
Travel Time – up to 20% (daily, overnight and weekends)
Travel Locations : jobs sites (domestic and international) and company facilities
