JOB SUMMARY :
The Business Systems Analyst is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between business objectives and technological solutions. This analyst is a crucial intermediary, fostering communication and collaboration among stakeholders, customers, end-users, and technical teams, ensuring alignment of business needs with effective technology solutions.
As the company evolves from an ad-hoc development approach to a more structured and planned methodology, the Business Systems Analyst will become a catalyst for transformative change. This role is instrumental in orchestrating a smooth transition, enabling the organization to achieve its objectives with heightened efficiency and scalability. The analyst's responsibilities encompass the entire system development lifecycle, from the initial stages of requirement gathering and validation to the management of specifications and hands-on support during project implementation. Beyond these core responsibilities, the Business Systems Analyst also contributes significantly to project management efforts and supporting the IT function, particularly in areas related to business process optimization and technological advancements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis :
- Lead the requirements elicitation process using a variety of tools and methods to gather input from stakeholders and end users.
- Translate high-level business objectives and user requirements into detailed functional specifications and requirements ensuring quality attributes and alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate requirements review sessions with key stakeholders, facilitating discussion to achieve consensus and approval and ensure requirements are clear, concise, and aligned with strategic initiatives.
- Help define the vision and scope of initiatives by prioritizing activities based on business value, identifying potential impacts, developing risk mitigation strategies, and documenting clear processes, policies, and procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to walk and stand up to 8 hours / day and / or sit for extended periods of time.
