Addresses total comprehensive needs of patients and oversees the delivery of care to a large diverse patient population. The RN initiates appropriate nursing interventions and education in conjunction with the physician’s or professional healthcare provider’s comprehensive patient plan of care. Serves in a supervisory role for Office Level 1 RNs and Medical Assistants and performs clinical supportive tasks to facilitate patient coordination of care and enhance work efficiencies for physicians and providers. JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES Education: Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing (ADN, diploma, BSN) Licensure: RN Indiana license or licensed in another state having requested endorsement in Indiana. CPR certification required. Pediatric Clinic also requires ACLS and NRP certification. Experience: A minimum of six months current experience in the ambulatory care setting is preferred. Experience in various clinical areas is preferred. May need to occasionally travel to other SJPN locations within the three-county area.
