Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking 2 - 3 highly-motivated, people to work primarily in retail sales.We are seeking a highly-motivated, energetic, creative and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Expect to communicate with Spanish speaking customers regarding order status and checking on inventory levels for fulfillment. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming store environment and ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of store promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively sell items to customers.
• Supervise stock levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions accurately and manage cash register operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide a positive shopping experience.
• Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards, ensuring that aisles are clear and products are neatly displayed.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products, services, and store policies.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)
• Previous experience in retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to supervise when needed.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to retail operations.
