Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining stock levels, and providing product demonstrations to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support throughout their shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively.
• Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism.
• Support the team in achieving sales targets through proactive selling techniques.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone.

Experience

• Previous experience in furniture sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
• Basic knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for managing stock and sales transactions.
• A willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.89 - $19.01 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
