About the Role

Working as a Custodian at Intech will give you the opportunity to be a part of a team that produces complex spinal and orthopedic instruments, that improve the lives of patients around the world! Through collaboration with your fellow technicians, machinists, operators, lead and manager your primary role is building and grounds upkeep and housekeeping and assisting the maintenance team with various maintenance functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning of facility floors including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping and using floor scrubber.
• Daily cleaning of facility restrooms (toilets, sinks, floors), break rooms and other common areas.
• Daily replenish and stocking of supplies as needed throughout the facility.
• Daily cleaning and surface disinfecting throughout the facility.
• Daily removal of trash and waste throughout the facility.
• Cleaning all areas including windows, dusting, sweeping, etc.
• Necessary sanitization as defined by the company.
• Responsible for snow/ice removal from sidewalks, all exterior doors and salting. Hours may flex during severe weather.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Forklift and Aerial lift experience a plus.
• Excellent manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to learn how to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to be highly accurate with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, handle stressful situations, multitask and ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively, professionally and constructively.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade School or equivalent work experience.
• Technical School degree or formal training in mechanical disciplines is a plus.
