What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Tool Technician- 1st Shift position at In'Tech Industries, Inc?
We are looking to add a Tooling Technician to our Toolroom Team! This position is focused primarily on supporting the day-to-day activities of the tools coming in and out of the toolroom from the molding production area.
Production Tool Technician:
- Complete mold change overs per the molding production schedule, working with molding setup technicians.
- Assemble and disassemble molds.
- Perform minor repair on molds and fixtures, as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of molds, fixtures, and related tools by cleaning, polishing, and reassembling for set production runs.
Essential job qualifications and requirements:
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in an injection molding machine setup position.
- Must be able to use and understand business system for production scheduling needs.
- Experience with hands-on training or formal training in Tooling is very helpful for this position.
- Must be able to work to a high degree of accuracy and work with tolerances of /- .0001
- Microscope use required
- Must have attention to detail
