We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Structural to oversee the design and construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that all structural elements of a project are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets for structural projects.
- Develop and implement design standards and guidelines for structural projects.
- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and contractors.
- Oversee the construction process and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure that project requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.
- 10 years of Structural Management experience within the AEC industry.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Structural Engineer (S.E.) license required.
