Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Embedded Software Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in C and Python programming, experience with Linux or similar operating systems, and exposure to networked product development, including Bluetooth, 802.11, GPIB, or TCP/IP protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for wireless products.
- Write, test, and debug code in C and Python to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support product features.
- Work with Linux or similar operating systems to build, deploy, and manage embedded applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
- Assist in the development of networked products using protocols such as Bluetooth, 802.11, GPIB, or TCP/IP.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to embedded software performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from a four-year accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in C and Python programming languages.
- Experience working with Linux or similar operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols and wireless technologies, including Bluetooth, 802.11, GPIB, or TCP/IP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
