I’m working with an exciting AI startup in NYC that’s building innovative tools powered by large language models (LLMs).

They’re looking for a Mid-Senior Product Developer with a strong technical background and some startup experience to help bring their vision to life.

What’s the Role About?

You’ll be leading the development of AI-driven products, taking ideas from concept all the way to launch. This means working closely with an amazing team of AI researchers, designers, and product managers to create tools that are not just cutting-edge but also genuinely useful for users. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll have a lot of ownership and room to innovate.

What They’re Looking For

• 4 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years working on AI/ML products.
• Some solid experience working in startup environments—you know what it’s like to wear multiple hats and move quickly.
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript, and familiarity with tools used in AI/ML development.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or frameworks like OpenAI or Hugging Face.
• A problem-solving mindset and a knack for building products that feel effortless to use.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience deploying LLM-based tools in production.
• Front-end skills (React, Vue.js) to bridge the gap between AI and great UX.
• An understanding of AI ethics and data privacy—it’s not just about building cool stuff but doing it responsibly.
