Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Product Development: Architect, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning models that create direct customer value across the platform.
- Data Processing & ML Ops: Optimize and maintain scalable data processing pipelines and machine learning infrastructure.
- Backend Integration: Design and maintain workflows that leverage machine learning to drive automation across systems.
- Product Evaluation: Collaborate with sales, customer success, and other teams to respond to feedback and improve product offerings.
- Custom Models: Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for medical document understanding tasks.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience (post-BS/MS) in an ML research/engineering role.
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable web applications, particularly in high-volume workflow automation and data processing.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into production environments.
- Ability to translate open-ended problems into actionable, efficient solutions.
- Familiarity with novel NLP techniques and research; prior publications in top conferences/journals a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in a startup environment.
