GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Access Control and Security Job Estimator is responsible for evaluating and estimating the costs associated with installing, maintaining, and upgrading access control and security systems. This role involves reviewing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine accurate pricing for projects while collaborating with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful delivery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Estimation
- Review project requirements, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work.
- Perform site surveys to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for access control, surveillance systems, intrusion detection, and related security solutions.
- Develop proposals that include labor, material, and equipment costs while adhering to company pricing standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position will require lifting, twisting, standing, bending, sitting or crouching at least 90% of the time. Frequent use of a phone and keyboard will be repetitive. The employee will be required to travel from time to time and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate the needs of company events. The employee must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The nature of this position will require the employee to work in various elements (Inside, Outside, Sitting, Standing, etc. and in various temperatures)
