POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager with a strong focus on general project management and financial expertise. The ideal candidate will have proven success in managing budgets, forecasting, and resource scheduling, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. While experience in CCTV and Access Control systems is preferred, the primary requirement is strong project management skills and financial acumen.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Schedule resources effectively, planning up to a month in advance to ensure optimal use of personnel and equipment.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of CCTV and Access Control Systems.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Track and manage project variances to ensure projects remain within scope and budget.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Financial Management:
- Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking expenditures to identify variances and adjust plans accordingly.
- Forecast project end dates and resource requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and ConnectWise to track and analyze project financials, including budget variances, resource allocation, and cost-to-completion, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present financial reports on project performance, including cost-to-completion and profitability analysis.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage project teams, including technicians, installers, and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
- Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the project outcomes.
- Conduct project close-out meetings and obtain client feedback.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all installations meet company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality checks and audits throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Safety Management:
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct safety training and ensure team members adhere to safety guidelines.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Proven ability to manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Proficiency with other project management software tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with CCTV and Access Control technologies and installation processes.
- Specific project management experience in CCTV and Access Control Systems.
- Experience managing infrastructure projects, particularly those involving security, cabling, or network systems.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
