- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to appropriate staff or family members.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote interaction and community involvement.
- Uphold resident rights by advocating for their needs and preferences in all aspects of care.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed, ensuring the safety of all individuals under your care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is essential; certification may be required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Understanding of social work principles and resident rights is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
