Delivery Driver/Installer

In the Nick of Time Moving is a small multi-state company, with less than 50 employees, that specializes in the delivery and installation of Gun Safes. Using specialized equipment our Delivery Technicians are able to get gun safes delivered and installed exactly where the customer wants it to go.

As a Delivery Technician the primary ongoing responsibility is to assist in the delivery of products into the customer's home or business. Delivery Technicians focus on safety and communication.

In the Nick of Time Moving uses a state-of-the-art training facility to make sure all of our technicians feel confident using our equipment and processes to safely and efficiently get a safe delivered and installed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to moving gun safes into customer's homes and installing them.

· Items can weigh several hundred pounds, ideal candidate must be able to push, pull and lift 150-200 lbs

· Long work days are not unusual (10 hours) especially in our busy season which is mid-November - March

· This is a Monday through Friday position

· Overtime is common

Tasks include:

· Moving safes using specialized equipment

· Using stair climbing dollies and pallet jacks

· Providing quality customer services at all times

· Promoting, maintaining, and developing existing customers and new customer business

· All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· Strong communication and teamwork skills needed.

· Basic mechanical/maintenance skill and general knowledge of tools

· Must have a VALID driver's license

· Pass a background check

· High school diploma/G.E.D

· Obtain a DOT medical Card (our vehicles are not heavy enough to require a CDL)

· Must be able to lift 75 lbs throughout the duration of the shift

· Must be 21 years or older

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
