Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office/Accounting Assistant to join our Campground. Exceptional clerical, accounting, and customer service skills are required. Experience with accounting and bookkeeping practices such as QuickBooks, payroll, AP/AR, and bank reconciliation is expected. Pay based on experience.
Duties
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Conduct data entry tasks with precision, maintaining up-to-date records in our accounting software.
- Engage in account analysis to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Utilize QuickBooks software for various accounting functions, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Display excellent customer service for guest check-ins and phone correspondence.
- Assist in campground events and activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quickbooks and a POS is preferred.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account analysis is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in payroll management is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members.
