In2Great! is a sensory integration-based clinic. Our clinicians take a child-centered approach when treating our clients. Brief job description entails evaluation of clients, writing up evaluations, treatment planning, establishing goals, conducting therapy sessions, documentation of sessions, communication with clients parents/caregivers, collaboration/communication with client teams.

Responsibilities include:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients to determine their physical abilities, limitations, and developmental needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and motor skills in pediatric patients.
- Teach and demonstrate exercises, stretches, and activities to patients and their caregivers to support treatment goals and enhance functional abilities.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to promote carryover of therapeutic activities into daily routines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, RBT's, and BCBA's, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case collaboration, and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
- Ensure a compassionate and supportive demeanor while interacting with pediatric patients and their families, recognizing and addressing emotional and psychosocial aspects of their care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of IL
- Experience: Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stamina to perform physical activities required for therapy sessions, including standing, kneeling, and moving patients.
- Capacity to engage in repetitive tasks and motions as part of therapeutic interventions.
- Professionalism: Adherence to ethical standards and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Skills and competencies:
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in a dynamic and occasionally fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a pediatric setting with children of various ages and developmental levels.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage a full caseload and prioritize tasks.
- Commitment to professional development, including staying current with best practices and continuing education.
Salary : $1,700 - $2,200
