Test Automation Engr II

We are looking for a Test Engineer II who will:

•  You will be responsible for testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirement and established standards.
• You will develop test methods, software, and hardware design, install software and develop automation in coordination with development team (knowledge of Visual Studio, C# and Specflow is a great plus).
• You will initiate and drive the development and review of test processes, plans and procedures following CSGI test platform.
• You will execute tests against hardware and software to validate features, functionality, and performance.
• You will be identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.
• You will support the ongoing problem resolution and upgrade of current production automated and semi-automated test systems.
• You will document results and work closely with developers and others to analyze and debug issues.
• You will research, recommend and develop new test automation frameworks and tools.
• You will utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins to execute automated tests.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is required.  Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirement Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, particularly within IT or software companies.
• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance Testing experience is required.
• 2 years preferred experience working with programming languages (C# Script, PowerShell) and relational database systems, including SQL query development.
• Exposure to WCF services and XML is a plus.
• Experience with automated acceptance tests is desired (ATTD, SpecFlow, BDD).
• Agile Environment/Scrum exposure is desired.
• Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• 2 years of testing automation and 2 years of experience with scripting test automation tools.
• 2 years of experience with performance testing with tools.
• Must have excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Must have good project management skills, keen attention to detail and self-direction and work with minimum supervision.
