Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to automate financial reporting, migrate legacy reports to a centralized system (KP Story), and deliver data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will excel in Qlik, Alteryx, and Google Workspace tools while collaborating with finance teams to build scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting & Automation:
  • Automate monthly/closed reports using Qlik (primary), Alteryx, and Google Workspace (BigQuery, Looker, App Script).
  • Migrate reports from legacy systems to a centralized repository (KP Story).
• Data Analysis & Strategy:
  • Analyze Verizon’s financial data (revenue, expenses, profitability) to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions with Teradata/SQL and scripting (Python/JavaScript).
• Tooling & Best Practices:
  • Develop dashboards in Qlik, ThoughtSpot, or Looker; optimize ETL processes in Alteryx/Knime.
  • Establish self-service analytics standards with governance guardrails.
• Collaboration:
  • Partner with finance teams to define requirements and deliver scalable data products.
  • Stay updated on BI trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Primary Tools: Qlik, Teradata, Alteryx
• Google Workspace: BigQuery, Looker, App Script
• Database & Scripting: Teradata, SQL, Python, JavaScript
• Experience:
  • 4 years in BI/data analysis (finance domain preferred).
  • 2 years with Teradata; 1 year with Qlik/ThoughtSpot.
  • Proven track record in report automation and migration.

Preferred Skills

• Tableau/ThoughtSpot for report migration.
• Telecom industry experience (Wireless/Wireline data).
• Knowledge of Knime, Hadoop, or cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Qlik, Power BI, or Looker.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to drive change.

Nice-to-Have:

• Master’s degree in a data-related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Big Data, Hadoop, or cloud technologies.
