Position Role/Title: Modern Device Engineer (Tanium / Linux / VmWare)
Location: Seattle WA (Remote)
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Tanium would be used to support Tanium Cloud Platform, client and module health. Tanium modules managed include: Interact, Asset, Trends, Connect, Deploy, Patch, Impact, Threat Response, Comply, Discover, Reveal, Performance and Enforce. Familiarity on majority or all of these is needed.
- Intermediate scripting knowledge of WMI Queries, RegEx, PowerShell, VBScript, and/or Python is a must.
- Manage the client Linux environments as a Linux admin
- Enable and maintain Linux environment in Tanium
- Support VMWare Aria environments
- Assist in planning for the migration of VMWare environment to Azure
- Develop custom Tanium sensors and packages to fulfill team and customer needs.
- Perform Tanium Administrator tasks such as managing RBAC permissions including User Groups, Personas, Content Sets, Computer Groups and Module Action Groups
- Create, test, and release new applications, feature, and vulnerability mitigation deployments via Tanium Deploy
- Research and develop solutions for continuous improvement of the patch and vulnerability management processes
- Generate endpoint vulnerability analysis reports using Tanium and Defender ATP data and distribute to appropriate teams
- Operationalize newly introduced Tanium module including Enforce, Reveal, and Performance
