Job Description: Triage Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Key Responsibilities:
Perform triage and troubleshooting for issues related to Linux-based embedded systems and cable set-top boxes.
Analyze and debug system-level problems involving networking protocols (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, TR-069, SNMP, DOCSIS).
Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python) to improve diagnostic efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and enhance system performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
6 years of hands-on development experience with Linux and embedded systems.
Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python) for automation and debugging.
Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, TR-069, SNMP, DOCSIS).
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C , or Java.
Experience with cable set-top box technologies is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud-based diagnostics tools and remote device management.
Knowledge of video streaming technologies and IoT device ecosystems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
