We are seeking a Drupal Developer who will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of Drupal-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, stays up-to-date with industry trends, and possesses a deep understanding of Drupal best practices. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our content authors and publishers.
Responsibilites
- Utilize your Drupal expertise to design, develop, and maintain custom modules, themes, and features
- Implement Drupal best practices for configuration, performance, and security
- Support the administration, upgrade and maintenance of Drupal sites
- Work with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions
- Troubleshoot and promptly resolve technical issues
- Conduct QA testing of new features to meet quality, performance and security requirements
- Document application code, configurations, and technical processes; and participate in knowledge sharing

Requirements
NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be willing to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST) work hours.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
- Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
- Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
- Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or a related field of study).
- 5 years of hands-on professional experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 3 years of experience administering and upgrading Drupal sites.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong understanding of web services and experience with API integrations.
- Understanding of Section 508 compliance.
