Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security controls to comply with CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 standards.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Endpoint Security & Device Management: Enforce security policies across Windows and Mac devices using Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Autopilot.
- Incident Response: Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure proper logging and auditing.
- Network & Cloud Security: Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs), Conditional Access policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Data Protection & Backup: Manage Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and backup solutions for email, files, and databases.
- Policy & Documentation: Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and compliance documentation required for CMMC audits.
- Collaboration & Training: Work with internal teams to ensure compliance awareness and conduct security training as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years of IT/network administration experience, with a focus on Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, and FedRAMP compliance requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Security tools (Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Compliance Manager).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and Conditional Access policies.
- Experience managing BitLocker, SIEM solutions, and data encryption.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- S. Citizenship required due to government contract compliance.
- CISSP, Security , CISM, or Microsoft Security certifications (SC-300, AZ-500, MS-500).
- Experience with Microsoft GCC High or DoD Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, ITAR, and other federal cybersecurity regulations.
- Experience in an AWS GovCloud environment is a plus.
