About the Opportunity
Inalab Consulting is searching for a detail-oriented, hands-on Accounting Manager to maintain and strengthen our company's internal controls. The Accounting Manager will ensure the quality of financial transactions and reporting, support our financial well-being, and play a leading role in financial decision-making. You will provide Inalab with strategic financial input and oversee the overall accounting processes, ensuring accuracy in all our financial activities.
Responsibilities :
Oversee & perform data entry to ensure all transactions are captured in proper accounting period
- Oversee accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries using Unanet
- Reconcile cash and all balance sheet accounts
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DCAA, and GAAP regulations
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports
- Investigate and explain variances from budget and forecast
- Oversee monthly reporting close
- Review and issue financials to management
- Establish and enhance financial systems and internal controls
- Review receivable aging report and perform necessary actions to ensure timely collection of receivables from the customers.
- Implement finance and accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements
- Develop and forecast budgets
- Provide training to employees as needed
Education and Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Preferred Certification : Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst
