About the Opportunity
Inalab has an immediate opening for a Security Specialist to provide services on our contract providing Functional Area Professional Services to the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS).
Duties :
Provide security specialist support by performing the following tasks :
- Develop guidance material or conducting training for personnel. Write, revise or update plans and Standard Operating Procedures for Protection disciplines.
- Provide the highest level of technical expertise related to a DoD client's security and program protection operations team and responsibility for that program.
- Support the client by providing security expertise and handsâ?on experience within Protection Security disciplines with knowledge and experience in operations security (OpSec), physical security (PhySec), antiterrorism (AT), emergency management (EM), and continuity of operations (COOP).
- Apply analytical principles and practices, research, and technical support in the development and production of security products and activities.
- Analyze and implement organizational security policies and procedures that ensure the physical safety of sensitive information and facilities and assist with the oversight and maintenance of the organization's daily physical security operations.
- Provide expertise in the construction planning for installation of safes in the Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRnet) environment. Provide safe management oversight.
- Serve on the Installation Working Group and plan and execute exercises for AT, EM, and COOP.
- Provide support in document control and security briefings, in accordance with NISPOM, ICD's and other applicable Government security directives, as appropriate. Leverages specializedâ?related knowledge to work independently or concurrently in supporting teams to directly solve complex problems.
- Implement strategic thinking to address issues.
- Execute occasional travel to support the PEO Enterprise Security Assistance Visit (SAV) program.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the PEO Enterprise HQ's.
