The Quality Control Inspector (Second Shift) works on assignments that are routine in nature and applies job skills and company procedures to complete assigned tasks. Works independently and generally only requires instructions on new assignments. The Quality Control Inspector supports QC activities, including incoming inspection and product validation testing.

Second Shift Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with local leadership, production, and warehouse personnel to perform inspections of incoming material including: elementary custom drawing components (DC), purchased components (PC), IFUs, stock labels, subassemblies, and/or mandrel/consumable tooling
- Opportunity to perform inspection of rework/quality protocols & advance DC parts (IE Molded components)
- Utilizes inspection tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gauges, etc.) per inspection requirements
- Perform daily priorities to ensure accurate/timely completion
- Perform and document incoming inspections according to drawing specifications
- Review documentation for accuracy, completion, legibility in alignment with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Initiate NCR for non-conforming materials and execute appropriate containment/disposition instructions
- Perform other duties as required
- High School Degree or Related equivalent
- 1-2 years of QC experience in a regulated environment (e.g. FDA QSR, ISO 13485, etc.) with GMP & GD
- Pays attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy
- Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Internet experience
- Use of Hand Tools, including scales/rulers, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, go/no gauges, Snap/drop gauges, etc.
- Read/Write English
- Tensile Testing / Torque Testing
- Cleanroom experience preferred
- Extensive computer use
- Light lifting
