Job Summary:

Immediate opportunity for an experienced Corporate Trainer who will support departments and the corporation in ongoing training needs. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for facilitating, creating, editing, formatting, and maintaining training for internal lines of business. This role works closely with departmental Subject Matter Experts to coordinate employee training, either internally or through external sources. This role will be responsible for coordination of employee events. Some travel may be required.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development:
    • Design, develop, and implement training programs that align with the company’s objectives and employee development needs.
    • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments.
  • Facilitation and Delivery:
    • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, including workshops, e-learning, webinars, and one-on-one coaching.
    • Ensure training materials are current and relevant, incorporating the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • New Hire Orientation/Onboarding:
    • Work along with the HR team to conduct new hire orientation and training sessions for new employees, typically on a weekly basis.
    • Coordinate with INB’s IT team to verify access to systems and update training documents as needed.
    • Responsible for maintaining INB’s Regulatory testing module (BAI). Scheduling of quarterly courses, reporting monthly reports to committees, and coordinating with departments leads to keep courses relative to trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Work closely with department heads and HR to identify training needs and develop customized programs.
    • Support corporate wide initiatives, building and/or developing training needs.
    • Provide support and guidance to employees, helping them apply new skills and knowledge in their roles.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee events, corporate sales events, and team-building activities.
    • Manage event logistics, including venue selection and internal spaces, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
    • Ensure all events are delivered smoothly and align with company culture and goals.
  • HR Support and Employee Relations:
    • Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs and organizational development projects, all while promoting a positive workplace environment
  • Administration and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program outcomes.
    • Prepare regular reports on training activities and effectiveness for management review.
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously improve training methods and materials based on feedback and new learning technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate training, learning, and development, or a similar role.
    • Experience in event coordination and supporting HR functions is highly desirable.
    • Experience in a company with a similar size (approximately 300 employees) is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and training software.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage employee relations effectively.
  • Certifications:
    • Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Train-the-Trainer, or similar are advantageous.

Salary:

  • $55,000.00-$80,000.00 annually
