Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to work on a wide array of environmental projects, including client contact and development, inspections and assessments, soil, groundwater, and air sampling, summarizing environmental and analytical data, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain positive and effective professional relationships with clients, and colleagues.
- Follow instructions, and work independently, or as part of a project team.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely, logical manner and exercise discretion and good judgment in accomplishing assigned tasks and goals.
- Have strong communication, interpersonal, and intellectual skills.
- Organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks to completion.
- Effectively promote IME's services and expand clientele under general supervision of the IME Board and Executive team.
- Become proficient with computer programs associated with Microsoft Office Suite operating systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
- Become proficient in the use of laboratory and field-testing equipment and procedures.
- Coordinate personnel and clients' schedules efficiently and cost-effectively in order to meet the needs of our clients and project budgets on multiple projects.
- Read and comprehend technically written material.
- Market all of IME's services.
- Manage projects including meeting deadlines, reviewing other work, and writing proposals and technical reports using sound engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or other appropriate engineering or science discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience post-graduation preferred.
- In-training certificate or similar, as appropriate preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, and drug/alcohol test
